The Wicker Tree, Robin Hardy’s long-awaited sequel (of sorts) to his classic 1973 film The Wicker Man, will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival later this month! Also, it’s been picked up for distribution by Anchor Bay Entertainment - which could mean a Fall 2011 release!
The Wicker Man is one of my favorite films ever; from the looks of this trailer, Hardy’s on the right track and will not disappoint.
